No one has “nothing to hide”
Problem is, they will always “find” something when they want to. They can get pretty creative with that.
I guess they will exclude politicians from this surveillance right?
Here’s how it’s supposed to be said, and I just did this earlier on Mastodon:
“I have nothing to hide, so you shouldn’t surveil me. You have something to hide, so I should surveil you.”
Should we conclude that the Supreme Court of India has something to hide?
No! Which is why anyone and everyone should record every little thing they do. Everywhere they go. Everyone they talk to. Even conversations with their lawyers and doctors.
They have nothing to hide so it’s OK! Walk right up behind them and start recording. It’s fine!
When they leave their laptop somewhere without locking it, make sure to upload their browser history for the public to view.
Nothing to hide!
