People in Georgia have been protesting everyday for over a year (406+ days) but for whatever reason it’s not currently getting much media coverage likely because the media tends to not report on reoccurring protests.

There’s more information about the protests on the Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024–2026_Georgian_protests

Basically they’re protesting due to election fraud, democratic backsliding and protesting against pro-Russia policies, they want to be aligned with the EU.

Russia is falling apart, maybe after the next collapse you’ll learn that only weak people want authoritarians to rule over them. Or maybe you’re deluded into thinking having authoritarians rule over you will make you equals somehow?

When will Russians stop being so stupid?

        1. Are you more of a libertarian kind of communist (like leftcom or council communist)?
        2. If the USSR were to return, it’d be more of a competitive multi-tendency country with the Communist Party as the main social institution, dedicated to anti-revisionist leftcom.

          1. I think ideologies are for the intellectually lazy. Different solutions are optimal for different problems. People thinking free markets for everything just want one simple solution for all problems they don’t want to think about which solution works best for individual problem. Same goes for people that that socialism for everything. It takes effort to find different solutions for each problem, so the intellectually lazy gravitate towards ideologies that claim one solution will solve all the problems. That’s never worked because it always winds up with telling an expert in a field they have to do things in a stupid way to conform to ideology.

          2. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Well I think that the people should own the means of production under a market economy (as long as no one’s getting hurt) - that’s how I’d describe libertarian market socialism which can be seen as a revisionist-type form of socialism (or a variant of Mutualism).
