Hope they ban WhatsApp in the EU. We need an EU version of WhatsApp.

We already have Threema
We don’t need another centralized messaging service in the EU. We need a secure and decentralized one. Such protocol already exist such as XMPP, Matrix, Briar, Ricocher, RCS, …
It is hard to create goverment backdoors in open protocols, I guess that’s why they ignore them :)
