Can we possibly do without apps on PCs ?

    Apps is short for Applications, which is another word for “programs” or “software.” You want to use a PC without any software??

      I fucking wish “apps” stopped being shorthand for software in general. Some of the most important software don’t have GUIs at all (which apps tend to do).

      But yeah, why have an operating system without software to operate?
