There really is no good portmanteau of the two products.

It is seen as illegal activity, so if you are asking like this I would suggest you don’t attempt it.

I spent ages obfuscating data before submitting it to JSONFormatter. Felt like a goomba, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that sending actual data to the service was a bad idea.

If something is worth paying for I just do that up-front. (Outside of some exceptions where I actively don’t want to support the creator or license holder)

Opinion: Having some highly opinionated, highly polished distros is an excellent gateway for people to jump aboard. Not everything will be how you want it, sure. But that’s how things are on Windows & MacOS right now.

Immutable distros also help here, preventing goombas like myself from bricking my OS, getting fed up and going back to MS.

Once you learn the basics with guard rails, you can branch out and fix the issues you really care about.
