Really sounds like this database is based primarily on biometrics obtained during legal immigration and travel.
I wonder how it will identify those who came through illegal means? Unless that’s totally not the point. Hmmm…


What a coinci-dink. I just installed Ubuntu last week on a new mini computer. I like how easy it’s gotten over the past decade and pretty polished.
I still had to break out the terminal to install some utilities and programs, so that’ll exclude 90% of my family, and if something goes wrong, I couldn’t offer phone support.
But I do use Affinity and think it would be at home on Linux.
I lost a beloved cat a few months ago that ran into the road. My security camera caught the whole thing.
“What if?” Is its own torment for us, but analytically, she simply wasn’t visible and there was nothing the driver could/should have done to prevent the horrible outcome.
There are in life no-win situations. It hurts, but it’s an adult realization. Cats go under cars to hide - to avoid being seen - and can’t grasp danger the same as humans.
