I’m specifically trying to bind a button to dpi/sensitivity cycling.

Was this using On-board memory, because my mouse doesn’t have any?

As best as I can tell, it doesn’t support anything related to DPI.

However, getting your software to use those directories can vary. Depending on your game launcher of choice, you’d have to figure out how to tell it to install games to your desired location. If you have a more concrete example then I might be able to detail this further.
I do use Steam a lot, and I know they have tools for it, but a bunch of my library is installers from GOG and from Devs directly, which I’m sure I’ll struggle to get working in the first place.
1>Says it can also print the current DPI, so I imagine that it’d be pretty straightforward to do a shell script of maybe three lines or so that cycles resolution through your favored resolutions when invoked. Doesn’t show an example of the exact output of the command, though, so I can’t tell you exactly what to run.
I installed it. The output from razer-cli --dpi print is just my dpi (1400).
11>I use Sway, and Sway can be configured to invoke commands when a button or key or whatever is pressed, so you’d just have it run said script.1
