I got mine a comic book which introduces making simple games in mit scratch. The kid loved the comic, read it multiple times. We sat together and entered the game, had a lot of fun changing the characters, and never did that again (I’m not pushing). The computer is still a boring thing dad does for work.

It doesn’t help that I can’t explain what I’m doing on my computer on the few times the kid bothers to ask. I’m writing a program that transforms this wall of text into that spreadsheet 🥱

There’s a program named binwalk that can extract resources from all kinds of files. Run it on the exe and see if you find your logo there. If so, note the file name and find it in binwalk’s output, post here or try figuring out yourself what to do

It was also a development domain and we were forced to change it.

Of course i chose self hosting, but this time with energy efficient hardware, server now takes 50 watts peak, with 4 hdds and an nvme. Asrock rack motherboard, with IPMI.

Often debrid services have cached content of torrents long gone, if the media is not very niche.

Jami is a mess, when i tried it first it starting calling as it were to receive a phone call. The second time i tried it on 3 devices, out of which 2 could contact each other lol. My last attempt was when I needed to send a few strings from a (internet connected) VM to its host machine*, installed Jami on both and the 2 instances couldn’t talk to each other. Joke of a program, really.
