I might get downvoted for suggesting proprietary software for this, but if you were happy with Google Drive before, Dropbox seems like the easiest drop in replacement. It has a native Linux syncing client.

No widget with a weekly forecast?

Also the hourly widget seems not to load for me when set to current location. Just says 0 degrees at N/A location. This is after setting Current Location in the widget settings.
