There are many variants. Also APL2.0 is just as permissive but protects against patent trolling

Or all the arr things
Havent heard of popcorn time yet
Edit: while I like the idea, I hope that the software at least seeds to ratio 1 by default. Otherwise it is pretty unsustainable for the network

Get torrenr archives when they are ready, select the music you like and share that. Way more sustainable than streaming from a hobby project that already costs them insane amounts
You can patch the kernel live? I know that Ubuntu does that
Fun fact, there isnt even an “MIT license”, look:

Yeah tbh I also like the design while I wouldnt use it XD

I semi agree. I have a shitty DSL connection but even with 5MiB/s downloads, a game will be there in like 2 days or so? And that is totally fine!
I get 3rd world countries, my standards are just low end normality in many parts of the country.
But still, games are huge and this leads to 1½ or more of disk usage. Repacks often save less than half the space, so if you want to share it and also use it at the same time, you will keep the repack and waste a lot of storage space. I have 4TB now and even then run out of space. I would very much prefer having the files there, linking (or copying, doesnt matter on BTRFS) the files to my bottles sandbox and using them there

Lol

Cool stuff. I did that with a USB stick which is objectively better but has less swag (as it is smaller lol)

I dont burn, I rip with MakeMKV, reencode with ffmpeg using a denoise filter and svtav1 with strong compression.
That reduces filesize to about ¼ or less and makes it shareable with anyone, many times.
I love digital media

I tried using about:profiles and suddenly firefox was also showing another setup page that was different. I think I added 2 profiles instead of one, strange

I think i use dash as my standard shell, but fish as my user shell. So it might point to fish, which doesnt work. Only using fish in my terminal could fix this.

Oooh, so Lisp huh? Why not normal lisp?

Well my shebang is #!/bin/sh which might break because I am on NixOS XD
So fish might fallback to using fish

I dont even know what it does after watching the preview video

Never heard of clojure XD

I think so. If I do ./script.sh I get fish errors, same with . script.sh
Only sh script.sh works, which is dash inside of fish

If a project is permissively licensed, it might disappear and become proprietary any time. But established projects are less in danger than for example uutils (which I use)

Yes that is what I do. But bash snippets dont work in fish.
I could learn something better like lua, but never used it
I mean that there is MIT and MIT-0 is already odd
