I wish I could carry around a high-power laser to point at the cameras in these glasses whenever I see them but I’d probably end up hitting their eyes instead

I’ve had my eye on them for ages and would love to get a set. And that’s such a good idea! For the night driving do you use the light lenses or the dark lenses? High beams are the bane of my existence…

There’s another site that sells actual privacy sunglasses (full IR blocking + reflective frames) but they’ve been sold out for months.

I don’t really have anything to hide… but I still believe in a fundamental right to privacy and personal agency. For a lot of people, these tools keep them alive (ex. Targeted minorities in oppressive regimes etc).

But for me, this is more of an academic exercise - I find it interesting, and the things I learn can be shared with others who need them more.

If your activities are affecting your ability to sleep and have peace of mind, my only advice is to stop.
