I can’t figure out how it runs nigh flawlessly on mobile but is slow as hell on web.

Element X is supposed to eventually replace Element on mobile, so it will probably support it down the line.

Wait is Vaxry really a fascist? I always got weird vibes over on discord server( I was one of the earliest adapters to Hyprland). I did hear some transphobic allegations, but I thought that was it and Vaxry went on to implement stricter moderation?

If so, that really sucks. Hyprland is probably the best Wayland Window manager.

Is there any application that lets you manually add metadata such as album art and co into files?

Do any of the other instances defederate from these or vice versa? I’d still like to be able to see posts from other instances.

I’m surprised no one recommended syncthing.

Syncthing lets you sync changes on any folder/drive across multiple devices via the local network - no cloud needed. I currently use it for my keepass database, Music folder and Documents folder. It’s als very simple to set up.

Only downside to this is that if your house burns down you’ll lose everything - but a friend suggested me to have important files on an encrypted tarball stored in the cloud.
