Some don’t care much about the license. Like how many people run Xpenology (hacked synology dsm) or Plex or stuff like that.

it’s mozilla, so one could expect better. but alas…
i just use google and deepl, maybe some yandex if i’m doing russian->english. would like a better alternative but i’m not aware of any.
is it impossible to disable gatekeeper now?
try heating up the board, use aluminum foil and steam iron. might fix cold solder joint, tho it may occur again.
to prevent batter swelling, ACCA should be used. (charge limit to 40% and drain between 30~40 works for me)
I think your phone’s motherboard is dead tho. Considering the screen glitching it’s probably cold solder joint in gpu/soc or something, unlikely to be ufs.
i use x11 and i run weston on top of x11 and waydroid inside it. seems to work fine
from their article it seems like they’re planning to reverse engineer firmware blobs for a phone that already runs a mostly free android distro (LineageOS). I know the importance of free firmware and stuff, but honestly, that phone is freer than most phones in the market. My opinion is that they should invest(?) in non-Android linux mobile OSes instead.
I hope it goes well… but imo firmware blobs in LineageOS shouldn’t be the highest priority.
ubports was pretty good last I tried but there were basically no apps. that was on xenial so it may be a bit better now especially with waydroid.
I’m still rocking Android 8/10/11, will continue to do so until I can’t run a proper web browser.
How is it better than Jami? Genuinely asking.
i don’t like having microg in the background so I use pipepipe, seems to work well enough. (and i don’t watch much youtube)
magic trackpad is the best choice here. the first generation is powered by aa batteries and bluetooth only. the second generation uses a built-in li-ion battery and charges with apple’s lightning port, and can do both bluetooth and wired usb. I have the second generation and use it wired. (mine’s battery is dead so idk how well bluetooth works)
I believe Wireguard/OpenVPN/etc profile availability is more important than Google Play Store.
i usually use total commander wifi send, copyparty or scp on termux
maybe playing around some values in synclient can fix it. that’s how i created a dead zone in my panasonic laptop. (some area is keep touched while using keyboard so)
Thanks for the recommendation!
I’m trying to move a friend groupchat away from discord and there are users on all those platforms.
Are you hosting your own server? How’s it working with multi devices one one account (phone and desktop usually)? I’ve experimented with prosody a bit and it seemed like only one machine was able to receive message at one time, so the phone and computer quickly got out of sync.
Sorry for asking too many questions, it’s hard to find these things easily.
Well it’s literally taught at school nowadays. I’m actually pretty surprised you’ve never heard of it.
